Jo Armstrong

Chief Executive Officer

Jo Armstrong has been Chief Executive Officer for Cystic Fibrosis Australia since January 2022. Jo has extensive experience across the charitable sector and has been serving in the non-profit industry for more than a decade in executive and senior leadership positions.

 

Jo has a Master of Business Administration and in 2020 was awarded a scholarship for a Doctorate in Business Leadership, focussing on values-based leadership, which will be completed in 2022.

 

Jo has received recognition for her work through her nomination as a Finalist for Woman of the West in 2018 and Finalist in the Parramatta City Council Citizen of the Year 2022.

 

Jo strives to achieve sustainability through efficiencies and revenue growth and leads with her values of inclusion, collaboration and hope.

 

Jo is passionate about advocating for the wellbeing of all Australians living with cystic fibrosis so that everyone may have a full and abundant life.

 

Robyn Peck

Finance Manager

Robyn is the contact person for all areas of finance and administration including: accounts payable and receivables, cash flow management, general ledger, banking, reconciliations and payroll.

 

Robyn manages the company audit and financial reporting for board members and management, and is involved in preparation of budget and strategic plan.

Nicki Mileham

Research Manager

Nicki has previously worked for a variety of financial institutions in executive assistant roles in Australia and the United Kingdom.

 

Nicki now manage CFA’s and the ACRFT’s research grants and scholarships program, and ensure that CFA’s clinical trial and drug pipeline web resource is regularly updated.

Bianca Ferrari

Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Community

Bianca is a dedicated professional with a passion for making positive changes in the community.

 

With over five years of experience in the not-for-profit sector, Bianca has worked with various local community initiatives and nation-wide organizations, contributing her expertise and skills to drive meaningful impact. Before transitioning to the not-for-profit realm, Bianca honed her talents in the corporate sector, collaborating with medium to large businesses and gaining valuable insights into the world of marketing and business administration.

 

Bianca holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a specialization in Marketing and Tourism, which has equipped her with the knowledge and acumen to devise innovative strategies for raising awareness and promoting the causes she is passionate about.

 

Her commitment to Cystic Fibrosis Australia is fueled by her dedication to bringing the organization’s values to life. Bianca has an empathetic nature and genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cystic fibrosis. Bianca’s drive and enthusiasm inspire those around her, as she continues to work tirelessly to improve the lives of individuals living with this condition and their families.

 

With her combination of not-for-profit experience, corporate background, and educational qualifications, Bianca remains steadfast in her pursuit of positive change and leaves a lasting impact on the communities she serves through her involvement with Cystic Fibrosis Australia.

 

Christine Nguyen

Marketing and Administrative Assistant

Christine recently graduated from S P Jain School of Global Management with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Majoring in Marketing.

 

She is passionate about helping others, loves children and looks forward to supporting the Cystic Fibrosis community with the National Office.

 

Also, Christine is planning to pursue a Master of Information Technology and is excited to apply her learnings to real-world experiences at Cystic Fibrosis Australia.

 

Graham Gourlay

Special Projects

Graham is a volunteer who assists with assessing research proposals and identifying new research opportunities for CFA and the Australian Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust (ACFRT). He also provides advice on research and other issues that affect the CF community.
