Research Review
In 1989 the Australian Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust (ACFRT) was founded by a group of parents, patients and doctors to secure resources to support cystic fibrosis (CF) research in Australia.
Today after funding more than 300 research projects valued at over $7 million, the ACFRT is recognised as Australia’s largest and most prolific CF research body.
We are excited to present the 2022-2023 Research Review, showcasing the remarkable research efforts and dedicated individuals committed to enhancing care and treatment for those living with CF. Over this period, 15 CF-related projects received funding, totaling over $680,000.
We are delighted to produce the 2019-2021 Research Review highlighting the amazing research and the wonderful people who have invested their career in improving the care and treatment for people living with CF.
The 2017/18 Research Review was the first time such a document had been produced to highlight the successes of research funded by the ACFRT.
